APRA-IN
Spring Conference
April 23, 2004
The Spring Conference was once
again a resounding success. Great speakers, great meal, great
location...there isn't a whole lot more to ask for! The
program committee should feel free to pat themselves on the back for
a conference well done.
The conference consisted of three tracks: a two part series on
Financial Research, a Prospect Identification and Qualification
session and a session on Creating and Running a Prospect Management
System. The morning sessions were conducted by Charles Headley, from
P!N, Becky Fry from Purdue University and Vicky Martin from IU
Foundation. Charles Headley began the first part of his two part
finance series by presenting on public company executive financial
research. Becky Fry and Vicky Martin presented on the processes
involved with identifying prospects and then qualifying them for use
by fundraising institutions.
The afternoon session, finished up with the second half of the
finance series and a session on running a Prospect Management
System. Charles Headley concluded his series by presenting on
private company executive financial research. Jennifer Cooper, from
Vanderbuilt University, talked about instituting the components
necessary for developing and running a successful Prospect
Management system.
