APRA-IN Fall Conference

APRA-IN held it's fall conference in the Showalter House, Indiana University Foundation. In addition to our regular business meeting, we had excellent presentations from Jon Thorsen from the American Red Cross and Christina Pulawski from Northwestern University.  Jon talked about expanding the role and influence of research while Christina discussed proactive functions in research.  They also teamed up for a joint presentation on marketing communication issues for research shops.  Kent Dove was on hand to give away a copy of his book, Conducting a Successful Development Services Program, and to talk with folks during lunch.  With Google gifts, excellent speakers and an author on hand, how could it not be an excellent conference?!  Many thanks to everyone that put it all together!
