       APRA-IN is the Indiana chapter of the Association of Professional Researchers for
       Advancement (APRA), an international professional association of development
       research and prospect management professionals. We are proud to be the first
       organized state chapter, founded in 1988.

APRA-IN Service Award

The APRA-IN Service Award was established in 1997 to recognize excellence in the field of prospect research and service to the Indiana Chapter of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement.  This Service Award is awarded every third year at the December Annual Meeting.  The previous winners of the award are: Ralph Rohrer, Betsy Schmidt and Barb Lee. Nominees must:           

  1. be an APRA-IN member in good standing 
  2. have been an APRA-IN member for at least 5 years
  3. have at least 5 years experience in the field of prospect research
  4. have demonstrated support or service to the APRA-IN organization.

Completed nomination forms should be submitted by TBD. More information to follow.


Kathy K. Wilson Educational Scholarship

Would you like to attend an APRA-IN conference for free? Apply now for the Kathy K. Wilson Educational Scholarship. The scholarship is awarded every Spring and Fall to an APRA-IN member. The scholarship covers fees for a future all-day conference.

To be eligible you must be an APRA-IN member in good standing. If you're interested, watch this space for more information on how to apply for the next scholarship. For your convenience, you can download the scholarship application form from the link below. Simply press the button and the form will open up in a word-window. Then you can either fill out the form on screen and e-mail it as an attachment or just print it so that it can be filled out by hand. When you've filled out the form, mail or fax it to Susan O'Shea.

To be considered for the Wilson Scholarship, please submit your application by October 1, 2010.


APRA-IN International Scholarship

The Indiana chapter of APRA is privileged to offer an annual scholarship to attend the APRA International Conference.

To be eligible you must be an APRA-IN member in good standing, hold a position that is at least 50% research or prospect managment oriented and agree to write an article about the conference for the newsletter. If you're interested, watch this space for more information on how you apply for the next conference.

To be considered for the International Scholarship, please submit your application by April 30, 2010.
