Just FYI for those that would like to use our site for Spam...you will be deleted. This message board has been created for exclusive use by advancement professionals. We reserve the right to delete any post or any user account that we feel does not fit the mission of this board.
Accordingly, SetMaster has been banned from this board and all associated postings have been deleted. If you would like to challenge this decision, feel free to contact me via e-mail.
Thank you,

Ah yes, SPAM also includes accounts set up for the explicit purpose of leaving your website advertising availabe to click on. Last time I checked, online pharmacies do not count as professional researchers in a fundraising setting. I'm sure Cialis is a wonderful product, but it doesn't belong here. User account terminated.
If you have a problem with that, please feel free to e-mail me: webmaster@apra-in.org

I appologize for the scum our site has been attracting of late. I try to keep up with spam posters and offensive messages, but they do tend to slip through from time to time.
If you happen to spot an offensive message, please e-mail me at webmaster@apra-in.org and I'll get to it as quickly as I can. Thank you for your patience.

I just did a quick trimming of the member list. If you feel that you have a legitimate reason for being here and that you shouldn't have been cut, let me know: webmaster@apra-in.org.

Dearest Spammers,
Just a few notes:
1) We would like to thank all of the spammers for posting in the "Not Even Remotely Connected to Research" forum. We don't like you, but at least some of you try to be respectful trespassers.
2) That having been said...we would still prefer if you didn't post here at all. We are simply not interested in prescription drugs, pornography, or OEM downloadable software. Not. Interested. Please take your advertisements elsewhere.
3) Although we're sure you're aware, spam isn't harmless. It takes up space on servers, that we pay for; and some of it can be rather offensive, which drives away productive users. We do not appreciate the time and money we have to spend to clean up after you.
4) Frankly, given that we're not interested in your products, and you're clearly not interested in our organization, it would probably be best if you simply refrain from making an account altogether. It just creates more work for us to delete you.

Hello,
I have just gone through the memberlist and cut some names that have been on the list for a while. They looked "suspicious," and I am having less and less tolerance for spam these days. So, if I've deleted you, and you think this is in error, please feel free to contact me.

P.S. To date, I have deleted over 400 user accounts that were obviously spam. |
